The history of the Round Room

15 July, 2015

When it comes to venues in Dublin, no other Dublin venue is steeped in as much history as the Round Room at the Mansion House. The Round Room was originally built in 1821 to receive King George IV. It was deemed at the time that there was no room grand enough in the city to receive such royalty!

Today the venue has been transformed into a conference venue and one of the most spectacular unique venues Dublin has to offer. After a large refurbishment in 2005 the banquet room returned to its former glory and it now caters for some of Ireland’s biggest events.

A perfect awards dinner venue our large exhibition space can cater for up to 700 delegates.

Catering also for smaller events, if you are looking for boardroom rental in Dublin our Trinity Room, Glass Rooms are perfect for interview meeting rooms. If you are looking for the perfect training venue Dublin has to offer, the Supper Room is the ideal space complete with breakout rooms.
