We were delighted to recently hold a range of events recently at the Conference and Events Venue at the Mansion House.
Some of our most recent events include; the Cork Foundation inaugural Dublin Lunch which took place on the 10th October at our Conference Venue in Dublin. The aim of the event was to bring together key business people from Cork and Dublin in a bid to generate jobs for Cork City and County. With guest speakers at the event, the lunch was hosted by Cork Foundation's Strategic Board Members as well as representatves from Vodafone Ireland, EMC and Glen Dimplex.
Speaking about the event, Yvonne Barry, Chairperson of the Cork Foundation said: “Denis O’Brien, Bernie McKay, Loretto Glucksman and John Fitzpatrick are already supporters of the Foundation. We hope that events such as this lunch will create new connections to ensure that Cork Foundation’s mission is being heard.”
Another successful event recently held was Sightsavers "See the Miracle" Event. Broadcaster Miriam O'Callaghan joined over 100 Sightsavers Ireland donors at the event for the exciting moment to witness Winesi March (69) be bowled over by the miracle of sight after being blind for over 12 years. The event was organised to grow awareness for the new fundraising appeal, A Million Miracles which is a three year campaign. This campaign aims to raise more than €35 million to support one million operations to restore sight for people in Africa and Asia.
