Lord Mayor of Dublin opens doors of Mansion House to raise money for charities

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge - The Mansion House and The Conference and Events Venue at the Mansion House raise over €50,000 to three deserving charities with the annual Lord Mayor's Ball.

On 24th October 2014 the Lord Mayor of Dublin Christy Burke opened the doors of the Mansion House to guests of the Lord Mayor’s Ball for a night of fine food, music and fundraising for three deserving charities. Hosted by the Lord Mayor and sponsored by Fire Restaurant Dublin 2

All money raised through ticket sales as well as on the night went directly to the three charities. A total of €51,889 was raised with €17,273 going to each charity. The three listed charities were The Capuchin Day Centre and Inner City Helping Homeless who give direct assistance to those who are homeless in Dublin and the Irish Hospice Foundation who give end-of-life care and help people live life as fully as possible to the end.

The event was sponsored by the Mansion House Conference Venue Dublin, so all monies raised through ticket sales and on the night went directly to the three charities. A total of €51,889 was raised on the night with each charity receiving €17,273.
