The Mansion House was recently highlighted on Nationwide on RTÉ 1 on the 4th February. The programme which showcased the Mansion House and its 300yrs celebrations.
The programme brought us back in time showing us how the Round Room at the Mansion House was built in 1821 to receive King George IV. The Dublin Venue was built as it was deemed that there was no room grand enough in the city to receive royalty. Today the venue is transformed into one of the ultimate conference venues Dublin has to offer. The venue can cater for shows, gala dinners, large conferences and its meeting rooms are ideal for small intimate meetings- offering some of the best meeting rooms Dublin has on offer.
In 1919 the first Dail Eireann was held making the first parliamentary move for Home rule. In 1921- 100 years after the room was built the Anglo-Irish Treaty was ratified here. Click here to view the Nationwide Programme.
