The first MII Marketing Breakfast of 2015 was recently held at the Mansion House Conference Venue Dublin on the 11th February. With a great turn out on the morning of the 11th February, the breakfast meeting was a huge success. The large banquet hall at the Conference and Events Venue at the Mansion House was transformed for the event
The guest speaker on the day was Geoff Codd, Marketing Manager with Energia. During his interesting presentation he explored the transition “From Logo to Brand....Energia’s journey”. Geoff explained that he and his team went the risky route of humorous promotions where he explained that they had license to be a little more playful as a competitor. In 2014 Energia had been a supplier of Electricity and Gas to mainly the commercial sector for over 14 years with a 28% market share however their own customers did not know who their supplier was. Going from zero brand awareness and zero residential customers their quirky humorous brand transition resulted in them gaining over 25% of the monthly switching market.
The MII Marketing Breakfast is just one of the many events taking place at our venue in 2015.
