We were delighted to recently hold the 12th IFTA Awards for Film and Drama at our Dublin Venue. The winners of the 2015 ITFA Awards for Film and Drama were revealed at the star-studded event held in our eloquent large banquet hall.
The event was hosted by Chief Executive of the Irish Film and Television Academy, Áine Moriarty. Aine congratulated all winners and nominees working in the Irish film and drama industry, everyone from directors to writers, actors and filmmakers. A wide range of work was showcased throughout the evening. The IFTA Awards are the highlight of Ireland’s film and drama calendar, celebrating the very best of screen talent in Ireland.
The event held in our unique venue in Dublin was hosted by presenter Caroline Morahan and the awards was recorded by official media partner, TV3 and it was televised on Monday, 1st June.
The star studded guest list included Deirdre O’Kane, Tom Vaughan Lawlor, Sarah Greene, Andrew Scott, Aisling Franciosi, Sean Bean, Moe Dunford, Patrick Bergin, Colin O’Donoghue, Ciaran Hinds, Sean McGinley, Aidan Gillen, Amy Huberman, Clive Standen, Alyssa Sutherland, Linus Roache, Maud Hirst, Peter Coonan, Aoibhin Garrihy, Charlie Murphy, John Connors, Mary Murray, Adrian Dunbar, Stephen Rea and Pat Shortt, Kerry Fox and Catherine Walker.
Jim Sheridan also received the Lifetime Achievement Award which was presented by Sean Bean. The award was a tribute to his highly illustrious career that spanned the past 30 years. Some of Jim Sheridan’s films include In America, My Left Foot, The Boxer, In the Name of the Father, The Field and much much more.
